Judging by the name of the dish, one probably can guess that this dish is slightly sweet. Which is not wrong, therefore, this very appetizing dish can be served with steamed rice or plain bun (mantao). I was inspired to cook my version of this dish after tasting it at a famous Hokkien restaurant. One word to describe, YUMS!
Today, I'd like to share another dish which is my staple order at Chinese restaurants. Soft aromatic egg tofu and minced meat in light gravy is a bff combination. Although it is commonly served in claypot but this is entirely optional and one could do without the claypot.
